This vintage gold tone Mt. Rushmore pendant is from the 1950′s. I found it on an old key chain and reworked it into a necklace with vintage gold style chain. The pendant is carved with the images of the presidents and says The Shrine Of Democracy on the front with five stars on the top. The back of the pendant states Greatest sculptural work in the world dedicated by Calvin E. Coolidge and Franklin D. Roosevelt. There are tiny stars on the back as well and the bottom reads Mt. Rushmore South Dakota. Pendant can be worn on both sides. The necklace is handmade and completely one of a kind from Corvus Noir.
