I love to collect vintage mesh purses so when I found this signed Whiting and Davis purse from the 20′s I knew I had to turn it into a necklace. The handle of the purse has filigree and floral details engraved on it. The purse is created from tiny metal rings also known as chain mail and feels very smooth and delicate. Due to the age of the purse, there are some rings that are disconnected from each other. That does not diminish its beauty though and makes it more special. The purse opens and you can put small mementoes inside.

This reworked vintage necklace was assembled from five different silver tone styles of vintage chain and is asymmetrical. The necklace is handmade and completely one of a kind from Corvus Noir.
