Wish List

Red, White, and Blue

July 3, 2012

Happy early Fourth! I hope you guys have some fun things planned for the holiday. I am writing this post in advance so I don’t know what we are doing yet but it probably involves something sunny. The weather has been very sunny in Austin and in the triple digits. I am not looking forward to all of this heat. Anyhow, I think it is fun to accessorize myself when a holiday comes around. And how funny that our red, white, and blue flag could create such fashion inspiration.

3. Gucci Coin Purse
4. YSL Arty Ring
5. Illesteva Sunnies
6. TOTeM Salvaged Purse

Neon Accessories

January 24, 2012

NYC is in full winter mode, we had a snow fall over the weekend and gray and rainy sky’s ever since. I seriously hate this weather, I find it very depressing and I tend to wear alot of black and dark colors because of that. I guess my fashion style usually reflects my mood. I do believe that if you wear brighter pops of color in your ensemble your mood will pick up a little bit. Thats why I am a big fan of wearing lots of neon in the winter. A neon bag, shoe, or item of jewelry can brighten up any dark outfit and looks so chic at the same time. It’s funny how I find so much inspiration from high lighter colors but I do and just love it! I made a collage of some of my favorite neon’s. Click on my pinterest board for links and extra inspirations.

1. love how bright and shiny this clutch is. large enough to hold my wallet, keys, phone, and lipstick

2. this two-tone dress would look great with a black blazer and leggings in the winter and with only a cute sandle or loafer in the summer time

3. Seriously the most insane backpack i have ever seen. would have made high school much more enjoyable if this bad boy was on my back

4. A pop of neon is always essential when wearing a white tank

5. my favorite part of this bracelet is the gold tone paper clip clasp

6. these patent leather pink pumps remind me of Barbie shoes. love that they can fit my feet!

7. metallic deep pink leather and pink tone chunky chain. need I say more?

8. perfect earring to wear with a fancy dress or jeans and a simple tee

I think all of us ladies out there can agree that you can never have too many bags or shoes. Your weight can go up and down throughout the years but bags and shoes will always fit you. They are the perfect accessory to dress up or down any outfit. They can make your look more polished or a little out there. I would say my favorite type of shoes are boots, I just love them. Leather, suede, tall, short, over the knee, ankle I will seriously wear them all. Don’t get me wrong, I do love my heels though. I just don’t wear them as often due to the comfort factor. When it comes to purses I have a pretty great collection of vintage ones handed down to me from my grandmother. Vintage bags will always be a favorite of mine. Especially if it has the gold cc’s.  Have a look at my pinterest board to see my holiday wish list link as well as some extra lovelies.

Earrings Holiday Wish List

December 20, 2011

I had my ears first pierced in the Fourth Grade and that was just the first time. I had them pierced three more times that year because they had gotten infected and closed up. Fourth times a charm I guess and they are still open to this day fingers crossed. I used to love to wear earrings. I bought so many over the years and wouldn’t leave the house without adorning my ears. The last couple of years I have developed some kind of allergic reaction to wearing most earrings except gold which really sucks for a jewelry designer. Any other metal even silver hurts my ear holes so i don’t wear earrings that often anymore. But I do still love them all the same. Below are my favorite earrings from my holiday wish list and click on my pinterest board to see links and other goodies as well.

1. Satomi Kawakita- gold and diamonds on a classic bar

6. Shourouk crystal and sequin earrings- has a vintage and modern Mad Men vibe

7. Lanvin Hoops- so cute, makes me want to take a vacation to an exotic locale wearing these earrings of course!

8. Iosselliani drop earrings- love the bright red rhinestones

9. Kenneth Jay Lane- the turquoise colored stones would pop against a black holiday dress

10. Citrine By The Stones- big chunks of pyrite for your lobes
