Mens Grooming Guide

Mens_Grooming_Guide

The male grooming routine is a sacred and somewhat secret ritual. Lots of guys don’t wanna share what they use or how much they spend. But, if you grew up with ruddy skin and thin hair like me, quality products are paramount. Reading ingredients is key, there are tons of weird, toxic stuff that has no business being in your body. The goal is to have the highest concentration of natural ingredients, but the products still need to perform. Understandably, there are some pretty toxic products that we can’t live without… but these should be few and far between. Check out my Pinterest board for more products as well as my other men’s style guides.

1. The Art of Shaving Full Size Kit – Sandalwood – Invest in better-quality shavings products, those gillette-ish products are not good for you

2. Clinique Skin Supplies For Men M Protect SPF 21 – Moisturize with SPF protection, leathery skin cancer is no joking matter

3. Yes To Tomatoes Blemish Clearing Facial Towelettes – Leaves your skin feeling clean without drying and reeking of chemicals

4. Lush Red Fun Soap Friend – Lips are suspect, but (s)he’s one cute bunny rabbit

5. Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 – All natural with SPF sun protection, enough said

6. Kiehl’s Since 1851 Soap On A Rope – Haven’t used rope soap since grade school, but oatmeal and citrus sound devine

7. Bolin Webb The R1 Argent Razor – Loving the sleek, modern design

8. Weleda Citrus Deodorant – Doesn’t have cancer-causing aluminum like antiperspirants

9. Ralph Lauren Big Pony Collection #4 – Super clean and refreshing without the musk

10. Aveda Light Elements Shaping Wax – Like sculpting clay, but holds stronger, lighter and less greasy

11. Jack Spade Men’s Travel Kit – AKA Doppler Kit, one of the best words in the english language
